Battlefield 2042 is a 2021 first-person shooter game developed past DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is the seventeenth installment in the Battleground series and was released on November nineteen, 2021 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox I, and Xbox Series Ten/S. Unlike previous games in the serial, Battlefield 2042 is solely multiplayer and does not have a unmarried-player campaign. It also features support for cross-platform play, a start in the series. Battlefield 2042 received mixed reviews from critics and a negative reception from players for its technical issues, lack of content at launch, and sure changes to gameplay.

Gameplay [edit]

Similar to its predecessors, Battleground 2042 is a multiplayer-focused first-person shooter. These credits can be spent on purchasing new weapons and upgrades in this fashion.[xi]

Jordan Devore of Destructoid wrote, "Battlefield 2042 feels like it could become a cool game, but information technology'south tantalizingly out of reach today.
